All of my art starts with my heart :) Material number one.

I draw, doodle, or grab hold of whatever vision I see in my mind’s eye, inspired by what is around me.

Then I transfer this to a Speedy Carve rubber material. I use specialty carving tools, along with the dexterity of a surgeon and the passion of an artist, to reveal what is hidden within.

With the finished carved block, I will ink the surface and press it onto cardstock or fabric to create what you see here in this very store!

I will also occasionally digitize my favorites and turn them into wallpaper! As a wallpaper installer by trade, this opportunity is near and dear to me.

Taking one brave step at a time! It was really scary to first start putting out the art that I made in front of others. I was afraid of being judged! But once I started to get out of my own way, and pulled back a bit from personally judging my own art so harshly, I was able to allow in some of the magic, and begin to experience how my art has an effect on others.
