Ferns Forever
About this pattern:
This fern carving was inspired by my roots along the Maine coast. In the spring time, as the last of the snow melts away and the sun sparkles over the land drying the wet, muddy ground; the ferns unfurl. It’s wild to watch their transformation over a few days. They go from tightly bound spiral knots, to stretching and yawning their way open, open, open, until they are wide with outstretched fronds. In a matter of days!nForests of ferns are nothing short of magical, hinting times of yore.
